Advanced Search Features for Alfresco Share¶
Alfresco Share has currently a general use search functionality. It has a textbox on the top right corner intended to perform search in the whole site for documents, wiki articles, blog posts, etc.
Internally it performs search on content (fulltext search), name, title, description properties and tags.
When you're performing a search on a keyword, if it is found in any of the previously mentioned properties or tags or in content, the element (document or wiki article or blog post ...) is considered as a match.
Our contribution through this extension is the ability to perform advanced searches inside Document Library. Added searching and filtering features that are detailed in the following sections.
